Extreme sport is a collection of dissimilar sports that all involve danger and speed. Many of these sports, such as snowboarding, also include a level of skill and dedication, plus a large amount of money to expend on equipment, protective gear and surgery. The principle of these sports is, essentially, the greater the risk, the greater the achievement. Extreme sports players are often extremely competitive, and vie with each other to go further and play harder.
