Film producers are people in charge of the production of a movie. They need to initiate, supervise and coordinate key aspects of the production such as funding, distribution, hiring key personne, etc. A producer is involved in all the stages of a movie production, from inception to completion. In the early 20th century, film producer were getting involved in the creative part but this role was then given to the film director.
