Lust
Their debut album, 1990's Lust. Which included remix singles Rough Sex and I Must Increase My Bust, became famous within the electronic music and dance music communities for their extreme sexual lyrics and implications. The rhythm of the music was among the best to many that heard them, but due to the lyrics the music never saw radio time.
Voodoo-U and more
Their second album was Voodoo-U, which featured a more hard industrial sound. This was a radical change from the sound that was made in Lust. Both had heavy styles, but the area of depth had changed.
This was followed by Our Little Secret (1997), Heaven is an Orgasm (1998) and Expand Your Head (1999).
By 2000, they released a more rock-influenced album entitled Farstucker. In 2003, after being in the business for 15 years, released a Greatest Hits album.
Fan Base
Their fans formed an online community called Children of Acid. They have some of the most diverse and devoted fans in the world. Lords of Acid also performed as Digital Orgasm, with a less sex-based and more rave-influenced sound.
Line up
The lineup has and is: Deborah Ostrega, vocals; Maurice Engelen, vocals, keyboards; Oliver Adams, Keyboards; Ludo Camberlin, guitars, keyboards.
Outlook
The band has recently toured and despite rumors, shows no signs of quitting. They have changed styles through their career, but have not broken up and have the supports base to make this pursuit worthwhile if they still have the passion to. With their sexual content and style, that is something that they should have for sometime.
