The Hogworts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a school of magic central to the plot of the Harry Potter series of fictional novels written by J.K. Rowling. It is apparently the only major school of its kind in Britain to train children with magical powers into qualified wizards and witches. It is a co-educational boarding school teaching children from ages 11 to 18.
