The Waldorf Hilton Hotel is situated in one of London’s most envied locations, bridging the City with the West End. Submerged in history, the hotel has been restored and refurbished with a taste and loving care. Located right next to Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square, Waldorf Hotel is within easy reach of all the theatres and other night life that the city of London has to offer. The Hotel is very conveniently placed just at the end of Strand, allowing it to be close to the heart of Central London as well as the city of London and its financial areas.

History

The Waldorf Hilton Hotel came into existence in the year 1908. It was built keeping in mind its vicinity to all the famous sites of the City of London. Thus, the Waldorf is close to a large number of attractions such as the Theatre Museum, London Transport Museum, Covent Garden Market, National Gallery, Nelson’s column, the London Eye and St. Paul’s Cathedral. All these are just a stone’s throw away from the Hotel. The neighboring shopping areas of Regent Street and Oxford Street make the hotel an attractive place to stay while visiting London.

The multi million pound refurbishment that was carried out in 2004 has changed the Waldorf beyond recognition and has made sure that the hotel regained its position as one of the premier hotels of London City. The commanding Edwardian façade of the Hotel replicates its historical past and at the same time it offers a spanking new design but in a classical setting.
