Plot

A man, a former athlete, Brandon Lang(Matthew McConaughey) has a knack for picking winning teams. A sports consultant, Walter Abrams(Al Pacino)admires his talent. When Lang and Abrams combine forces, They begin to make loads of cash, betting on football games. New clients are jumping into the action because things look like a big plus.

Resolution

Things are going great. Everybody is making cash, They’ve got plenty of clients who are getting rich on their skills. But the whole operation begins to slide when Lang loses his touch for handicapping. He’s not picking winners anymore.

The clients think it’s just temporary, so they hang in there and continue to bet. But things get worse because he can’t get back on track. People are squabbling now, they’re angry. Greed and desperation are taking over.

Brandon is living the life of a winner. His lifestyle can’t handle his losses. Lang is under heavy pressure to win. Abrams won’t let up. He’s got a lot at stake.

Their world falls apart and everyone around them is sucked into the storm.

Families are fighting and lives are exploding.

The premier for the film was held in Beverly Hills.
