Microsoft Windows is a series of operating systems and proprietary operating environments created by Microsoft. It is dedicated to servers and PCs. Released in 1985, the Windows was designed as an add-on for MS Dos. Nowadays it is the most popular system, especially for PCs. In July 2005 it was estimated that over 90% of computer users have Microsoft Windows installed.
