Die Hard is one of the series of movies that changed action in many different levels. It showed that the hero can get hurt and doesn’t just shrug it off. It also showed a charm that wasn’t boyish like Arnold or Mel like to show. This was a series that showed a tough guy that wasn’t always fitting the good guy model. John McClane was a character that brought the worst out in the bad guys and then raised the level of play to match.
