Criminals are individuals that commit crimes. By breaking the law, a crime can have different types of repercussions for the guilty individual. Punishment can vary from small fines to death penalties in some parts of the world. Every single country has different methods of dealing with people that broke the law and punishment may not be the same in two countries. Some states (I.E. US states) have the power of adopting different laws to deal with criminals.
