A cattle (also referred to as cow or old term kine) is a domestic ungulate. Scientifically it is categorized as a part of the Bovidae family and a member of the Bovinae subfamily. Raised as livestock, a cattle is an important source of meat, leather and dairy products, being also as a draught animal. In India, cows have a special status, being considered a holly animal. Any individual that harms a specimen will be the subject of severe punishment according to the law.
