A Ballet lesson is a special dancing class where the techniques used in ballet are taught.

Classes

Ballet Lessons are challenging and demanding. There are several types of classes based on what it teaches and in what time. Intensive programs are usually being used before performances to master the needed techniques and regular programs can be on a daily, weekly or three times a week basis. During Ballet lessons the student will go through specific elements, used to aid the dancer:

  • Barre Work: every ballet dancer has to go through this type of training. He/She will learn about adage, grands battement developpé, ballottés, demi pliés and several more.
  • Adage: learn about the grand rond de jambe en l'air and the ports de bras
  • Pirouettes: the student learns to do the pirouettes
  • Petit Batterie
  • Allegro
  • Grand Allegro

To be able to master all the techniques a dancer needs there will be a need of properly learning the basics. Failure to learn them will immediately lead to failure in the next steps of development as a dancer.
