An astronomical object is any object that exists in space. Many astronomical objects can be found within our solar system. These include the planets, asteroids, comets, and the sun itself. Extrasolar objects are those found outside of our solar system. These include various types of stars, star clusters and galaxies, as well as extrasolar planets and solar systems. Some astronomical objects are very exotic, such as black holes, pulsars and quasars.
