How to have the ultimate sleep over party for your pre-teen friends

From ArticleWorld

To have the ultimate sleep over party for your pre-teen friends can be the greatest of fun if planned properly. The slumber parties of yester years may have metamorphosed into the modern day sleep over parties but essentially they remain as chaotic and unpredictable as ever. Basically these parties mean good memories and happy times for all the girls in these ‘girls only’ get-togethers. If you are planning a pre teen sleep over party at your house then you will require certain guidelines that are enumerated below.

A few suggestions

  1. Tell your mom about what you plan to do and seek her permission to do so. Confirm the date and see if it suits her to host the party on that particular day.
  2. Tell your mother the names of all your friends whom you intend to invite. Invite only your close friends and girls whom you are comfortable with. Make sure that all the girls who are invited are friends with each other.
  3. Give your home the once over. Help your mother with the cleaning and housework; you don’t want your friends to find your room in a mess.
  4. Make a list of all the activities that you plan to have and stock up on the food and the other supplies. Get all kinds of snacks that would really make the party come alive – chips, milk, cookies and candies are great for those who feel hungry in the middle of the night.
  5. Indulge in craftwork with your friends like making friendship bands, earrings, necklaces or alternatively paint each others nails or give each other a makeover.

Do’s

  • Spread your sleeping bags where you and your friends are going to sleep. Wear cute pajamas and don’t forget to brush your teeth before sleeping.
  • Let everyone know when to leave the next morning, so that parents can come and pick up their children in time.

Don’ts

  • Avoid games that can lead into arguments like truth or dare where truth might become too embarrassing for some guests and dare could get out of hand.
