To get good grades and still be considered cool and a non-nerd is like having your cake and eating it too. It is a given that if you do well at School you will be considered a nerd or a geek and a lost case. Here are ways to help you top your exams and keep your image of a cool guy/ girl as an added bonus.

A few suggestions
- Nerds are generally pictured as small in appearance, wearing glasses and looking kind of dorky. Well do not think of yourself as a nerd, instead think of yourself as smart and with it. Keep up (build) your image of a cool one by wearing trendy clothes and being absolutely sure of yourself.
- Join the swimming or the track team of your school. Play hard and study harder and have everyone admire you. Participate in all the fun activities of your school and have fun at such occasions.
- Be pleasant and outgoing. Have lots of friends and a hectic social life. To many of you getting good grades and having a busy social life may seem mutually exclusive but it can easily be done with some smart time management.
- Have all the latest music video news and other cool news at your finger tips. No one will ever mistake you for a nerd.

- Walk and talk with confidence. Remember a typical nerd walks with a slouch and is not really interested in hearing himself/ herself speak.
- Talk about studies in an offhand manner and answer questions in class casually.

- Don’t talk about grades and subjects and homework all the time. Instead talk about joining music classes and your hobbies and the latest movie with your gang.
