  • Fabric in the pattern that you choose
  • A wire hanger or a Styrofoam circle
  • Ribbon

  • Fabric tacks for use with a Styrofoam circle.
  • A large flat area in which you can assemble your wreath

How to assemble

  • Cut fabric into strips of one inch by four inches. (This will be determined by the size of the hanger or Styrofoam circle)
  • If you are using a wire hanger, form it into circle make it as round as possible. Use the bottom of a large pot to form a perfect circle. Leave the hook on the hanger.
  • Starting at the hook, tie a piece of fabric onto the end. If you are using Styrofoam, tack the first piece on the circle.
  • Carefully wind the fabric around the wreath until there is about one inch of fabric left.
  • Tie the next piece of fabric to the end of the last and continue winding. Do this until the wreath is covered.
  • With the next piece of fabric do the same as the first; only overlap it so the first the first layer shows.
  • When you are satisfied with results of the fabric, take the fishing line and tie to the ends of the decorations spacing them according to the size of the wreath.
  • Wrap the decorations around the wreath and finish with tying bows with the ribbons.
