Polish cuisine has meat and game that is heavy on the stomach and spicy. Beer, wine, and vodka are some of the drinks that are served with Polish cuisine. Much of polish cooking uses mushrooms, nuts, and honey. Some Polish cuisine includes: pierogis which are dumplings stuffed with meat, mushrooms, sauerkraut, potatoes, or cheese. Bigosis a meat stew with sauerkraut. There is beet soup and makowiek is a poppy seed cake.
