Playing cards are hand-sized rectangular pieces of heavy paper or thin plastic used for playing card games. A set of playing cards is called a deck or pack. Many popular magic tricks use cards. Some of them require special decks. Various card games are used in gambling such as poker and blackjack. One side of the playing cards shows a similar design while the other one has special markings with digits and figures.
