Networking hardware refers to the physical components of a computer network (system of interconnected computers) including the computers themselves, peripherals and other equipment and devices.

Networking hardware components include a file server (which hosts the programs and data files in the network), workstations (the computer terminals connected to the network) and network connectivity devices such as bridges, cables, Ethernet switches, hubs, network interface cards (NICs), repeaters and routers.
