Indigenous people of Africa are a particular ethnic groups of people living in the continent of Africa. There is not fixed definition of indigenous people. According to the United Nations, indigenous people are the people who originally inhabited a certain country before settlers came from somewhere else. The descendents of those who were living in the country are also considered indigenous. Examples are Indians of America, the Saami of northern Europe, the Aborigines of Australia and the Berber of Morocco.
