From ArticleWorld

Any man-made enclosed space or construction, whether dwelling, shelter, warehouse, factory, greenhouse, or others, is a building. The word also refers to the activity of putting things together. Structures need not be man-made. A distinctive rock outcropping could be referred to as a structure. In architecture, a structure is anything that has been designed, engineered and constructed to be inhabited or used for transportation, storage or manufacturing, or as a monument, among others.
