Art collectors are individuals that are collecting art. Tendencies in what to collect can vary from person to person and is a hobby that is equally taken in by both men and women. Some people make a living out of collecting art and then selling them at higher prices while others have different reasons for undergoing in the practice. One may just love one painter or a period in art evolution (like the Renaissance for instance), while others may collect art pieces with similar subjects.
