Michael Kors started his life in 1959 in New York. Living in New York, he was inspired by great art museums and other fashion designers because he went to college to study fashion and art and then became a world renowned fashion designer and television personality.

The beginning of a career

The year was 1981 when Michael Kors splashed onto the fashion scene with his women’s wear line that is featured at Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman. Kors’ men’s line came about in 2002.

A career continues

In 2004, Kors’ Michael line was cultivated, created, and launched. This fashion line and its accessories was still upscale but was priced for the average customer. You can find the Michael line at Macy’s and Dillard’s. The line has the style and quality that you wish without the high price tag. His clothes are ready to wear and they are very pretty and sophisticated for many professional and non professional women.

Recent development

Michael Kors can be seen on the highly rated show Project Runway. A few of the favorite comments on Project Runway dealt with the Barbie challenge. “Raymundo’s look was old and matronly, but Nick’s look made me want to be Barbie.” In addition, to Project Runway, in 2005, Michael Kors created a women’s fragrance called Island.
