Steps
At any time during the operation, you must have documentation at time. Get the motherboard's manual along with the manuals of any devices you have to install.You will also need the common tools of the trade: screwdrivers, scissors etc.
- Open the case and remove the motherboard tray, if your case has one. Make sure that, when you unscrew components, you put the screws in a safe place. If there are more types of screws, do not mix them. Finding them will be very annoying.
- Replace the ATX connector plate, if your motherboard came with one.
