When talking about music we are referring to a term that has many definitions. There is not one that is accepted by everybody because the perception of music is different for each individual. This is mainly because of the confusion between musical genres and music in general. There is this popular belief that music is the musical genre that one individual enjoys listening. Although this is not one of the scientific definitions of the term, it is still the one used on a day-to-day basis.
