Digital Revolution is the effect of a rapid drop in costs and continuous improvement of digital devices (i.e. computers replacing analog systems) with unforseen results (i.e. the appearance of the WWW for the former example). Visible changes can be seen in both technology and society with numerous controversies taking place. The digital revolution started in the early 1980s.
