Crafts are skills involving practical arts. The term can refer to a trade and is often used as a part of a longer word (I.E: craft-brother or craft-guild). Another common usage of the word is in the combination "studio craft". It refers to crafts practiced by artists that work alone and are independent or that work in small groups. Examples of studio crafts are: weaving, metal work, studio poetry, wood turning, glass art and so on.
