Business law is a term used for any law dealing with business operations. It is also known as commercial law and governs all commerce and business alike. Different practices are controlled and based on the country (many of them have different business laws) one that breaks the law can even go to jail although fines are more common. A business can also suffer if breaking a certain code of the law and can even be forced to declare bankruptcy in certain situations.
