The Best Actor Oscar Award is given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to individuals that took part in a motion picture filming. Seven of the men that received the prize have won it twice during their career: Dustin Hoffman, Tom Hanks, Marlon Brando, Gary Cooper, Jack Nicholson, Spencer Tracy and Fredric March. The award is considered to be the most important distinction of one's acting skills in the industry.
