From ArticleWorld

The upper limb is the extremity that, in humans, is referred to as an arm. It begins at the shoulder joint with a ball-in-socket joint that connects the trunk of the body to the humerus bone. At its midpoint, the upper limb has another joint called the elbow joint. Two bones, the radius and the ulna provide structure to the forearm, which terminates at the wrist. The end of the upper limb in humans is the hand, a multi-jointed tool that allows humans to do many fine motor movements.
