Sitcoms (or situation comedy) are television or radio shows. It was originally created for radio but nowadays it is more common in television. In most cases recurring characters act in different situations. They can play new individuals or act as an existent one. The main theme of sitcoms is located in a common environment, usually a workplace or family home. Last of The Summer Wine is the longest running sitcom today.
