Environmental pollution refers to the release of contaminants in the environment resulting from human activity. The most common air pollution is: CO2, sulfur dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides. Water pollution can be organic or inorganic. Soil pollution is one of the most fought types of pollution. In most cases it happens when chemicals are spilled or an underground storage tank leaks. USA, China, Russia and Japan are the largest pollution emiters.
