McDonald's is a fast food restaurant chain. It is the largest in the world with the first one opened in 1940. The business started with one restaurant, managed by Dick and Mac McDonald. Nowadays the official opening of the franchise is considered to be in 1955. That was when CEO Ray Kroc opened the first true franchise restaurant. Today, McDonald’s restaurants are present in 119 countries and more than 30,000 locations serve around 50 million people everyday.
