The same term can also refer to a specific area of economic production focusing on manufacturing and needing important financement. Also called “heavy industry” and in need of important capital in order to generate profit. The financial industry is the largest industry in the world in terms of earnings. Other examples of industries are the music industry, the automobile industry, etc.
