High IQ societies are organizations whose members need to have a high IQ (i.e. 130+) in order to be admitted. They are considered to be the most intelligent in the world. Mensa International is the oldest such organization. It was founded in 1946 by Roland Berrill and Dr. Lancelot Ware. In most cases the reason behind the establishment of a High IQ society stands in the need of communication between its members.
