Helicopters are aircrafts lifted thanks to one or more propellers (horizontal rotors). Helicopters are categorized as a part of rotary-wing aircrafts. They are more complex than fixed-wing aircrafts and more expensive to build and operate. The main advantage stands in maneuverability as helicopters can easily hover in place, move in reverse and land and take off vertically. Helicopters are thus favorite for all short distance moving operations.
