The Geography of India is diverse and features almost all types of landscapes from desserts to snow-caped mountains. The country covers over an area of 3,000,000 square kilometers. In the South, equatorial climate is predominant and Tundra can be found in Northern parts of India. The coastline is also an important part of the Geography of India, covering over 7000 kilometers. India shares its borders with Pakistan, the People’s Republic of China, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Bhutan and Afghanistan.
