Experimental Music is any music that challenges the norm in society or in the generic genres that are in a region or nation. Many genres have experimental bands that are affiliated with them. Some of the most common are in house, trance, techno, industrial, and most genres in the ambient category. Experimental is one of the catalysts in making a new genre or in the divergence of one genre evolving into another. This genre is housed with musicians and also anyone that can manipulate music as a whole such as disc jockeys, audio engineers, and record producers as well.
