Dumbledore’s Army, popular referred to as the DA, was formed by Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hemione Granger in their fifth year at Hogworts in J.K. Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’. It consisted of about 25 members who met regularly to learn and practice magical defensive spells, taught by their leader, Harry. This was a form of rebellion against Dolores Umbridge.
