Concerti grosso is a popular form of baroque music that has four to six movements with music passed through soloists and a full orchestra. This music was developed around 1680 and is of Italian descent. It was the center of the style of the time and is one of the more enduring styles that has remained through the tests of time. It has been used by all the greats such as Bach in his Branderburg Concerti.
