A Cake is a type of food preparation that is usually baked and sweet. In most cases the recipe will combine different wheat byproducts with a sweetening agent (in most cases sugar or honey), some form of binding agent (an egg for instance), fats (butter, fruit puree), liquids (milk or water), different flavors and leavening agents like baking power. There are hundreds of recipes possible and many people have their own tastes when it comes to cakes.
