Bluegrass music is American roots in style, but this a mish mesh of English, Scottish, and Irish roots music as it is a compilation and melding of these three that was developed by the immigrants that moved to the Americas so long ago. This style is reflective to the joys and hardships that these people faced in this new land and the culture that was being meshed with other cultures during this time.
