Blind people are individuals that can't see. Blindness can be total or partial and can occur naturally or because of various physical or mental factors. Several people became celebrities although blind (for instance Stevie Wonder, John Milton or Ray Charles), while others can even be imaginary or a fictional character played on a given stage. Other uses of the term blind can lead to misunderstandings although the most common use refers to the incapability to see.
