The word Arab is usually used to refer to any person from the Middle East or North Africa, who is a native Arabic speaker. The word Arab is used in other terms such as the Arab World or Arab States. There are almost 300 million Arabs. Though both Iran and Afghanistan are Muslim countries, they are not part of the Arab World. Moreover, Arab Christians are also considered ethnically or culturally Arabs, who follow the Christian faith.
